L.A.M.M. was created about a year ago, when I had lots of free time on my hands. Needless to say that time was quickly filled with creative projects.  Out of the blue I decided to buy a sewing machine, a beginner’s sewing book and taught myself how to sew various things.  I was hooked.  Not a day went by that I wasn’t sitting at my little machine sewing away.  And oh how fun it was to go to supply stores and browse through all those beautiful, colorful fabrics!  Pure bliss.

I started out by sewing pillows and purses.  Fun!  At first it was just for fun, then turned into gifts for friends and family...and soon I had requests, so that I decided to create a little online shop on an online marketplace named ETSY.  When I went back to work, my time for sewing close to disappeared and my shop had to take second place.  But only to brainstorm for my next projects and ideas.  2012 has been a slow start for my shop, but it has given me time to create goals, and, after all it’s been a start!  I am excited for what is yet to come :-)

2013 is starting with more excitement to sew than ever.  More ideas, unique items and hopefully more time :-)
